CAMP REPORT – For the first time in the last few years we had a dry week! Riding conditions were excellent and the week was successful. We were all well fed by Mr Chubby and thank you to Matt and Paul for providing the disco on Thursday night. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to a few other people. Firstly thank you to Sarah Clarke. Sarah puts in an amazing amount of time organising everything and her aim is always for our members to have an enjoyable time. It’s not an easy job, but Sarah always seems to cope so well with everything. Also Debbie Anderson, who gives up her time to stay for the week and help and support Sarah,  Alex Golding and Matt Ford who also stayed all week, Alex to look after the younger members and Matt to look after the boys. Without these people there would be no camp. Thank you also to our instructors. They turn up year after year and we assume they must enjoy themselves to keep coming back! I would like to also thank those families that supply ponies for those, who for whatever reason have been unable to take their own ponies. Their generosity means that members can still go to camp and have a great time. Camp next year is at MKEC on 9th August 2009.

Well done to Abbie Salter andSpringer who represented Northampton Pony Club at the novice showjumping Championships at Sandbach on Saturday. They came a very respectable11th. After jumping clear rounds in the first and second rounds, they had two down in the jump off. Abbie was one of the youngest competitors there, so very well done.  

Congratulations to  Jess Dimmock, Alice Stones, Judith Hodges and Jade Winfield our Intermediate show jumping team on their 8th place at the showjumping championships.
