Monmouthshire Homepage

Welcome to the homepage of the Monmouthshire Hunt Branch of the Pony Club. The branch was established in 1931 as one of the original branches of the Pony Club of Great Britain and is part of Area 10.

We are an enthusiastic branch with a strong competitive history, but welcome and cater for all ages and abilities of members. We are happy to organise new
activities at the suggestion of our members. If you would like to know more, just contact our secretary, or better still come and join us for a day or two.

Rallies throughout the year where we practice riding and horsecare
An annual camp which is great fun (we return to Stonar School, which promises to be exciting and in high demand)
Three day rally for 12 & unders during the summer holidays
Training sessions for dressage, show jumping, cross country and tetrathlon
Picnic & fun rides in some of the spectacular riding country around us

The Pony Club is the number one organisation for young people who love ponies and riding. There are more than 43,000 Pony Club Members in Great Britain, belonging to either a Branch or a Centre - there are more than 350 of each of these. Membership of The Pony Club offers fun, friendship, training, events and competitions.

Internationally The Pony Club has a membership of over 110,000 across 18 countries, making it the largest association of riders in the world. Most British equestrian medal winners at The Olympics and World Championships have been Members of The Pony Club.
