Once again the weather fooled us. Many of those who had sensibly brought waterproofs were lulled into a false sense of security by the sunshine when we arrived. Typically, as we moved further from the start, the weather darkened until we were in the top field, and as far from home as possible, when the heavens opened.

A good time was had by all - especially the ponies, who seemed to have made a pact that they were all going to behave as badly as possible to celebrate their first cross country rally of the year.
