****************************** Camp 2008 What a brilliant camp we had this year at Kelsall Hill. In spite of the damp weather we enjoyed the wonderful facilities provided and spent most of our time on the cross country course or the super farm rides. This year being under canvas, riding in the vast open spaces with the magnificent backdrop of the Cheshire countryside was in my opinion just what Pony Club camp should be all about. No indoor schools with ponies and riders going round and round in circles. We enjoyed the freedom of open space, fresh air and the excitment of learning how to attempt new challenges and achieve greater trust and understanding between horse and rider. The difference in the confidence of both the ponies and their riders was obvious just after a few days. Yes, Kelsall Hill was definately one of our best camps. Parents, you should all be very proud of these young people and their ponies. Thank you for allowing me to be their guardian for the week and for the cards, presents, telephone calls and the many positive comments which I have received. I hope they will join me again next year, Ann X.
****************************** Thanks to everyone involved for all your support and encouragement at last Saturdays Area Show jumping competition. Difficulties were overcome and what a super day we had. Good going, lovely sunshine, some super ponies and great young riders. Every single person I spoke to had enjoyed a relaxed and friendly competition. Ann M. Bookings to attend rallies should be made on the Friday before the rally at the latest! Due to health and safety, at mounted rallies the only persons allowed in the riding arenas are the instructors, committee members and leaders of children on lead rein. Latest Reports!
